Just wanted to let you guys know that I have still been working on things, just in the shadows.

I will be releasing an EP consisting of six songs in the Spring. One of the songs is fully complete (look at my previous post), and the other five still need lyrics. I just recently finished making all of the instrumentals though! I will be posting previews on my SoundCloud along the way, so stay tuned!

Genesis will be released in the Spring of 2017. c:

Happy 3rd Anniversary c: Games

happy_3rd_anniversary

Exactly 3 years ago I started making games!

On April 1, 2013 I got introduced to LÖVE, a Lua based framework. I made 6 games with LÖVE. About a year later, I moved on to Processing, and made 5 games. Then about another year later, I moved on to HTML5 and JavaScript to make web games. I’ve made 2 games in JavaScript so far, and I plan to make more before I move on to something greater.

And today, I submitted Arc to IndieCade! c:

About 10 days ago, I stumbled across a tweet saying “We need an artist to help with our game logo!” by @NorsewareOrg. I saw the tweet and thought why not. So I contacted them, directed them to my website, and they accepted me to make their game logo, which is actually just a banner for their game.

The game they’re (Norseware) currently working on is called: The Quest For NES. It’s an RPG, similar to The Legend of Zelda, and it’s filled with RPG Clichés. Here are a couple of screenshots from the game.

They wanted me to make the banner almost the exact same as The Legend of Zelda’s. So here’s Zelda’s Banner.

And here’s my progress so far. There’s not going to be a sword, we’re not sure what will substitute for the Yellow Triangle in the background just yet, and the background is going to be slightly different.new_words

So that’s what I’ve been working on recently. Will probably finish soon. I’ll show you the final thing when I’m all done. Hopefully I can find more Freelance Work to do in the near future. c:

Updating Arc

new2

I’m making some changes to Arc. Going to be constantly updating it. So far I got rid of the shadows, and the score in the background. Here’s a little GIF of what I currently have. I’m just trying to add ‘juice’ to the game; I want to make it look prettier. The only thing I’m certain I’m going to keep is the way the arcs, power ups, and golds spawn, and the no shadows. Still not sure if I should keep the background or the bouncing arcs. I’ll figure something out. c:

(Sorry for the low quality, and really fast GIF, only looks bad here)
